The BoDeans have settled their longtime lawsuit against former friend and manager, Mark McCraw.
“We were able to resolve all of the claims involving Mark McCraw including both the claims tried to the jury in May, as well as the claims reserved for the court to decide,” said Sam Llanas.
“Not only did Mark waive all claims to post termination compensation, but he also gave up all claims and interest in copyrights to our songs, and waived any claims to any future album commissions and royalties," Llanas said.
"As a result of this settlement, we will have no future entanglements with Mark. This was one of the principle goals of the litigation, “ said Kurt Neumann.
“The jury understood what Mark had done, and their verdict was instrumental in resolving the dispute on favorable terms. While we could have continued to litigate, and we were confident of continued success in the case, the strain wore on us daily and we really wanted resolution to focus on more positive things,” said Kurt.
The BoDeans thank their fans for their tremendous support.
“We could not have seen this through without them,” said Kurt.
